Sri Krishna Janmashtami 2024 | Maha-Abhisheka | ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill
Devotees all over the world celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami on the Ashtami tithi (eighth day) of the Krishna paksha (dark fortnight) of Shravana masa (July-August, also called Bhadrapada masa) to celebrate Lord Krishna’s advent to protect the pious, annihilate the miscreants, and reestablish the principles of dharma in the world. The Supreme Lord also appears to display His loving pastimes in the spiritual world to attract us to His joyful devotional service.
Please join us for the grand midnight abhisheka, followed by an arati accompanied by a special song commemorating the Lord’s divine appearance.
