This speaker is made from oak, a few pieces I have had for a while now, the main body of the speaker is made from a limb offcut, was hoping to keep some of the bark on but the woodworms have had a field day in this one and there was nothing left between the wood and the bark other than dust.
Finished in Danish Oil, each piece had 5 coats and then a quick buff.
The speakers used are from Dayton Audio and are from their DMA range and are 2“, each speaker is matched with a DMA passive radiator. Amplifier is 2 x max 68W at 20V and uses the MA12070 chip, I’m running the amp at 19V which seems to match the speakers well after testing.
The music used in the testing of the speaker is available on Spotify in this link, thankyou Louis (Fifth Lucky Dragon) for letting me use this -
