Roots Classic 2023: The Best New Old VW Show in the USA

Making the trek east for Roots Classic 2023, the best new VW show in the USA (in the beach town of Wildwood, NJ), stirred all kinds of emotions inside me. Made me feel all the feels. Even inspired me to bring back the old VW wall calendar (buy it at ). Roots Classic ticked all the boxes for a great weekend. The team behind the event and associated GTGs throughout the weekend did a spectacular job of scheduling, permitting and hosting the hundreds of cars and thousands of folks that took over Wildwood, NJ for the weekend, and the vibe was much like an early H2O International weekend—before the riff-raff. tl;dr you need to go next year!
