My Current SRT Caving Setup: The Ropewalker-Texas Ranger System

My Current SRT Climbing System to use at your own risk! Note to those buying stuff: The new Petzl Pantin cannot be locked off since Petzl removed the hole used for locking off (for some reason). I now suggest buying an older pantin with a hole or some other foot ascender than can be locked off in some way. Pictures, Details, and a parts list for the chest roller: This is my version of the Ropewalker that I think solves all the problems associated with the Ropewalker: size, weight, price, inability to do technical rope work... I built this system because I often carry heavy camera gear, bolting gear, or microshaving gear into multi drop caves.. and I hate carrying a lot of weight while climbing on a sit-stand system... I posted on here it to benefit those who are looking for a system that climbs more efficiently than a Frog all the while maintaining the positive things a Frog system is known for... Note: The cows tail in this picture is made out of webbing which I have because it can be used as a third semi-mechanical ascender but, it doesn’t absorb energy like dynamic rope! This webbing cows tail isn’t one I’d suggest using; I was experimenting with it at the time. My normal caving cows tail is the standard cows tail made from dynamic rope.
