Puppy’s Tearful End After Escape from Heartless People One hot summer day, a report reached the local animal rescue team about a severely injured puppy. The team drove over an hour to find a small, brown puppy, trembling and in unimaginable pain. He was covered in severe burns, likely caused by hot oil or grease, and his tiny body was infested with ticks and worms. The sight left the rescuers speechless. The team named the puppy Nemo. Nemo was immediately rushed to the vet, where his condition was assessed. His head and eyes were greasy and festering, and he vomited worms. It was clear he had been through severe abuse and abandonment. The veterinary team quickly prescribed a rigorous therapy: Longacef for the next three days, frequent eye rinsing, and ointment for his eyes. Nemo also received NexGard to tackle the infestation. With care and compassion, the rescuers brought Nemo to a foster home where he could start his long journey to recovery.
