Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on April 6th 2023

▪️Russian air defence means shot down another AFU unmanned aerial vehicle in Valuyisky urban district. UAV, equipped with aircraft-type cameras, was conducting reconnaissance of border areas of Belgorod Region. ▪️Near Sluchovsk, Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to enter Bryansk region. Russian border guards prevented the threat. Claimed strength of the enemy group was about 20 men. ▪️Russian troops continue to fight offensively in the forested areas near Kreminna. Heavy TOS-1A Solntsepek flamethrower systems have begun to be actively used to suppress AFU defence nodes. ▪️Ukrainian formations launched artillery strike on Lysychans’k frontline city. Three civilians were killed and another person was wounded as a result of the hit on a bus stop. ▪️Fierce positional fighting continues northwest of Bakhmut in Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Despite all efforts, neither side is able to gain the advantage and gain a foothold in the settlement. ▪️In the centre of Bakhmut, Russian units are pushing the enemy back, methodically liberating block after block. According to the latest reports, intense fighting is taking place near Metalurh Stadium, where Wagner PMC fighters are trying to encircle AFU defending units. ▪️Ukrainian formations once again launched inhuman attack on Kalininsky district of Donetsk. Nine people were killed and at least seven wounded as a result of HIMARS rockets hitting a repair depot.
