Uriah Wade Hall, 46, from Adel, was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for armed meth distribution after leading law enforcement on a high-speed motorcycle chase. On Nov. 6, 2021, Hall sped through Hahira on his distinct silver Suzuki Busa, evading a Lowndes County Sheriff’s deputy. During the chase, Hall carried a loaded 9mm pistol, 829 grams of meth, heroin, digital scales, and $1,610 in cash. After a dangerous pursuit involving Georgia State Patrol units, Hall was apprehended and later sentenced. With multiple prior felony convictions, Hall’s possession of a firearm was illegal. The case was a collaborative effort between the FBI, LCSO, and GSP.
