Change Image Background Using Magic Brush in SmartMask Plugin in AliveColors
Learn how to select people on a photo using the Magic Brush in the SmartMask built-in plugin. The tool helps you select complex objects (such as hair or semi-transparent details) working with color sets, keeping some colors and deleting others. It is a helpful tool when you need to replace the background and create a photo collage.
In this tutorial, we applied the Magic Brush tool and Refine Edges feature in SmartMask, then improved the selection edges with a layer mask in AliveColors.
You can use SmartMask as a plugin or as a standalone application. The AliveColors image editor includes SmartMask as a built-in plugin.
