10,000 gather in London for vigil held for victims of Israeli bombing

Around 10,000 people gathered in London on Wednesday in a vigil held for the victims of Israel’s bombing of al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza the previous night. MEE’s social media producer, Mohammad Saleh, was at the vigil and described masses of people turning up, despite the pouring rain. “People were mourning and holding candles, many people were crying and said they felt they really needed this,” he said. “A congregational prayer was held, and people then marched to Downing Street where they closed off the area and chanted against the UK prime minister, and called for an end to arming Israel,” he added. 🎥: Mohammad Saleh Subscribe to our channel: Subscribe to MEE Telegram channel to stay up to date: Middle East Eye Website: Follow us on TikTok: @middleeasteye Follow us on Instagram: Like us on Facebook: Follow us on Twitter:
