What do the Clarity and Texture sliders in Lightroom and Camera Raw actually do and how to use them.

Adobe Camera Raw has two sliders that are often overused or used in the wrong way. This causes visible artefacts in the final photo. Used correctly they speed up the editing process preventing the use of more difficult editing techniques later on inside Photoshop. The approach here has specific application in portrait editing but understanding these tools will also help with edits in landscapes, macro, and many other genres. This video is part of a detailed series where specific aspects of a complete editing workflow are explained. Finding a sensible editing workflow is a challenge for many photographers and that is the main reason for this series under development. The first video in the series focused on the new AI Denoise tool in Camera Raw and Lightroom: First Aid for Photos - how to know where to stick the plaster!!
