The protest is one of many across Europe over the past weeks and is a sign that the West is experiencing fatigue in supporting Ukraine as they continue to resist Russia’s invasion. According to Warsaw city hall, some 10,000 people participated in the protest in front of the Polish parliament, demanding the withdrawal of Poland from the EU’s Green Deal which they deem too costly, and calling for a ban on imports of Ukrainian grain, which they argue is having a negative impact on Poland’s agricultural industry.
