Logobayé - a most relaxing song on the kalimba (thumb piano)

Somewhere in the ’90’s, a good friend of mine who is a divine craftsman in making percussion instruments, made me try one of his latest creations, a perfectly tuned “kalimba“ (thumb piano / ned: duimpiano). On the spot I fell in love with this wonderful instrument and “Logobayé“ is one of the first songs that spontaneously erose from it. Don’t bother if you can’t understand the lyrics, they are just sounds picked up from somewhere in the universe, just colours on a smooth pastel of afro-inspired hues.
