Included in this is the plan to extend Russian state-approved educational curriculum. According to Barinov, the goal is to promote a sense of Russian-supported multiethnicity to counter what is seen as Ukrainian ethnocentrism and nationalism. Additionally, this video segment introduces Rafi Abdul Jabar, and ethnic Pashtun Afghan, who has lived in Russia since he was nine years old, and has been actively participating in Donbass. Vladimir Putin held, via videoconference, a meeting of the Council for Interethnic Relations, which focused on Russia’s current system of state national policy, the integration of Russian-held territory in Ukraine into the Russian socio-cultural environment, and the adjustment of the State National Policy Strategy in the context of external threats and challenges. This will be a multipart series, with each speaker (roughly 10 - 15 minutes) having their own separate video. The whole conference is nearly two and a half hours. This video series examines more of Russia’s current domestic policies; particularly its multiethnic and multicultural character. The entire video will be translated for those interested in more niche-specific topics. Original video: - #vladimirputin #putin #russia #russianukrainianwar Rafi Abdul Jabar speaks at 10:12
