Art in Venice: The New Steppe (English subs, 2020)

Khankhalaev gallery has presented the project “The New Steppe” at 58th Venice Biennale with artist Zorikto Dorzhiev. exhibition tells a story of migration and cultural transformation seen in images and icons typical of different civilizations. The motto of the event was “May you live In Interesting Times” that at the sight of the current events may sound ambiguous. Due to flooding in November in Venice and tragic events happing at the moment in Italy and all over the world, we recollect the time, when we could enjoy architecture, museums and freely walk the streets and promenades of the beautiful city. We would like to share with you the positive energy that bring the warm, beautiful and deep images of Zorikto and magical Venice.
