G Tom Mac & DJ L33 - Cry Little Sister (EFR Tribe Version) DJ Lee, Gerard McMann The Lost Boys 2

This was one of the highlights of my electronic rock career. This is my remix of the song Cry Little Sister. To be fair it’s not a remix, it’s a NEW VERSION from scratch. It was a pleasure to work with Gerard McMann ( AKA - G Tom Mac) who contacted me to create a new version of his incredible hit theme song from the legendary first Lost Boys movie. Gerard had heard my club mix of his original Cry Little Sister song from the first movie on my radio station 99.9 The Electric Front online. I had given it a Nine Inch Nails industrial rock feel. He wanted to make a new version like that! Gerard recorded new vocals and let me go to town making a new version. I played all the instruments, mixed and mastered quite a few versions. Eventually we got down to something to put on the Blu-Ray of The Lost Boys part 2, along with a video. It turned out really well. This is the full version I intended, but Warner had their demands for time constraints if I remember right (2008) and we edited it down a but, with Gerard putting a cool guitar riff in the bridge for the Blu-Ray version of this song. This was a really fun time, and I wish I had been able to join them in the video, but I was thrilled how it turned out. This video is a mixture of footage from that video and The Lost Boys Part 2: The Tribe that I put together in 2015. I miss these days, and have purchased The Electric Front domain again and am contemplating starting it up again as an Industrial, Rock, Metal, Synthpop, Grunge etc station. Thou Shall Not Fall! Hope to speak to you again one day Gerard. I might post the Dub and Extended versions soon, as well as work on a slight update for 2021. -DJ L33 (or as I spelled it back then DJ Lee)
