84 year old singer-songwriter Ray Jessel - America’s Got Talent 2014

One of the funniest songs ever written! Leave your comments on his style of songwriting and lyric composition. Sadly, Ray was taken from us on July 17, 2015. Two-time Academy Award Nominee, Ray Jessel has been involved in music for the majority of his life. Best known and remembered for his work on the Carol Burnett Show, The Bob Newhart Show and The Smothers’ Brothers, he is also the writer of the theme song for The Love Boat and was one of the show’s scriptwriters! He has been involved in many, many projects from teaching, writing songs to writing for comedy TV. One of the people that make our world of entertainment so good, but sadly remained mostly behind the scenes and unknown to the majority of the public. Somehow, I don’t believe Ray was a true contestant on America’s Got Talent, not with his background. But, the show’s producers are the only ones who really know.
