The Channel Tunnel

The Channel Tunnel connects two countries with rival history for long time: Brittan and France. It stretches 38km under the sea and burns billions of pounds from private investment. In order to build the tunnel the engineers faced a lot of challenges. The first thing was how to do a comprehensive survey before the big dig. Second, 8000 tunnelists from two countries start their machines from their own shores, racing to the middle point of the tunnel. Overcoming terrifying floods, horrific fire and financial meltdown, the tunnel finally stands by itself. The movie will describe in details the world’s longest undersea tunnel.
