Miss Beatrice Lillie introduces a few girls of the Old Brigade who are appearing in the Little Theatre’s Nine O’Clock Revue.
Group of women dressed in old fashioned outfits stand on a stage set representing a living room. Miss Lillie speaks to front of stage and the other women disappear. She ends up speaking to herself. Clothes are thrown over the top of a screen most land on the floor. Beatrice emerges wearing an up-to-date 1920s outfit. Her friends return and look shocked. C/Us of some outraged ladies. An intertitle reads: “Girls, these are actual dresses of the ’80’s! Incredible aren’t they, when compared with the latest!“
Beatrice sings a song dressed in another outfit. She is wearing a white wig with plaits coiled at the ears. “Where are the girls of the old Brigade? Where are the perfect cooks?
