Tokyo robot cafe serves up jobs for people with disabilities

A trial for robot waiters at a cafe in Tokyo started on Monday. Customers were welcomed and served by OriHime-D, a robot developed by Ory Lab Inc. The robots are not powered by artificial intelligence, but by people who have difficulties working in public spaces.
