The Third Generation (Die Dritte Generation) is a 1979 West German crime drama film. It features Harry Baer, Hark Bohm, Margit Carstensen, and Eddie Constantine. A wildly anarchic satire of urban guerrilla warfare in which a band of leftist radicals inadvertently become puppets of the West German government, which uses them to justify its authoritarian policies.
