Encanto | Isabela Facial Expression Test | Philip To | @3D Animation Internships

Isabela was one of the characters I got to supervise on Encanto. Here’s an early calisthenic for her facial expressions so we could test out her controls and make sure we could try out different ranges and emotions before we got into production. The rig was still in progress at this point and we still continued to tweak it but this is as far as I took the animation. A lot of this was based off amazing drawings by Jin Kim and Bill Schwab.
