Where did I get the idea of climbing 14 peaks within 7 months? I get asked this question a lot. I hope this story from 2017 reflects where the idea came from ? - Please watch till the end ! . The pressure of setting fixed lines was huge because our main team was following us less than 12 hrs on the summit push. Not being able to set fixed lines would have jeopardise the whole expedition, as we would have used all the resources (oxygen/ food supply etc) in Camp 4 / South Col. . I always felt that I perform my best under pressure. Perhaps that’s a second nature that evolved through my 10 years career in the UKSF: Special Boat Service #sbs. . How did I get the confidence?
