A Nature Documentary Crew Stumbled Upon A Shipwreck Deep In Lake Huron
A shipwreck deep in Lake Huron was discovered by a nature documentary crew.
A filmmaking duo from Canada made an incredible discovery while gathering footage for their latest documentary project. For years, director/cinematographer Zach Melnick and producer Yvonne Drebert have been shooting stunning underwater footage to document a problem facing their native Great Lakes region. But on one day of work, instead of filming the invasive quagga mussels as intended, their camera captured an amazing shipwreck — a discovery that might be the key to solving one of their homeland’s darkest, most enduring seafaring mysteries.
