ISKCON Bangalore celebrated the first Ratha Yatra, which began 39 years ago, in 1985, from the temple premises at Palace Orchards, Sadashivanagar. There were two beautiful, gigantic Rathas – one for Lord Krishna and the other for Lord Balarama. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Krishna and Balarama rode on the same chariot.
