THE “ DEATH ZONE “ 4K #hanggliding

I hoped for a nice soaring day at Tonstad, Norway. The weather predictions was perfect. Light northwest breeze straight in, sunny with good thermal activity from around two o’ clock in the afternoon. But they were wrong. (again) Fond of power lines? I’m not! I was too keen to find any lift, and worked my way towards the usual hot spots. But with crosswind, sink and turbulence I ended up low over the power cables. A bit frightening, but it worked out, crossing them at their lowest point. Keeping my nerves. Next time...
