Plot: Scar slowly turns bitter towards the world, including his beloved daughter. In a blind frustrated rage, he blames the death of Nala and Kiara and that sticks with her until she’s a young adult. One day she goes out hunting for food and Kovu ( who’s wandered far from home ) sees a lioness. He watches her failed attempts at hunting for awhile. She mistakes him for prey and he ducks from her attack. They become fast friends and immediately start crushing on one another. For a few weeks they continuously hang out until one night Kiara brings up her past and they talk about it. She learns that Kovu is the son of Simba and Zira, the lion responsible for killing her mother. Kovu feels she holds it against him but she has learned to let go of the past in order to move on. They nuzzle but Scar catches them and tells Kovu to leave. Kiara begs him to stay but he wanders off into the night. Scar and Kiara fight and she chases after him.
