It mixes Basque instruments such as the alboka and the pandero with Celtic ones like the Irish whistle and bodhran. The song tells about the most prominent tree god of the Aquitanii (the linguistic ancestors of today’s Basque people). Sexarbori stands for the god of the six trees, which shows possible worship on sacred groves by native Basques like the Celts did in their Nemetons.
