Making a Petroglyph Inspired Puukko

In this video, I am making a Finnish style knife (puukko) with a Puronvarsi blade I bought. I wanted to try some copper etching this time and as an inspiration for the design I was thinking about something ancient like bronze age scanidanvian petroglyphs. So the for the handle I chose some ancient bog oak, copper sheets, and reindeer antler. The blade is a 125mm Puronvarsi. Everything I’ve done here is as a hobby and for the sake of learning and sharing the process with others. There’s no pretention whatsoever and I’m not a knifemaker. Don’t hesitate to like, subscribe and comment. I’ll try to answer as best as I can.
