Rokot launches Kosmos-2540 satellite

A Rokot launch vehicle, with a Briz-KM upper stage, launched the Kosmos-2540 satellite from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Russia, on 30 August 2019, at 14:00 UTC (17:00 local time). Also known as Geo-IK-2 No. 13 geodetic satellite, Kosmos-2540 was launched for the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and is reported to have been placed into the desired orbit.
