Tribute to Prussia - Viva la Vida

Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck-Schönhausen was a German politician and the main person responsible for German unification. Through clever actions he succeeded as Prussian Prime Minister in uniting the small German states and in making Prussian King Wilhelm I the German Emperor. He was born in Schönhausen on April 1, 1815 and died in Friedrichsruh on July 30, 1898. Frederick II, also known as “Frederick the Great“ or “The Old Fritz“ was a Prussian king and known, among other things, for the conquest of Silesia and his participation in the Seven Years’ War. He was also a great lover of art and culture. Friedrich was born in Berlin on January 24, 1712 and died in Potsdam on August 17, 1786.
