‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’ The Beatles - Chords In Description (Standard - No Capo)

Although he wasn’t credited on the album’s liner notes for some reason, Eric Clapton provided lead guitar on this song. Eric and George Harrison were good friends, but George had to convince him to come to the studio because Clapton was concerned that the other Beatles would resent him being involved. On the contrary, Clapton’s presence lifted the mood in the studio at a tricky time for the band - they argued a lot during recording of The White Album, but apparently everything relaxed when Clapton walked in. *Chords* *Intro* Am (x-0-2-2-1-0) C6 (3-x-2-2-1-0) F#m7b5 (2-x-2-2-1-0) Fmaj7 (1-x-x-2-1-0) Am G6add9 (3-x-0-2-0-x) D (with F# bass) Esus4 (0-2-2-2-0-0) E (0-2-2-1-0-0 *Verse* Am (x-0-2-2-1-0) C6 (3-x-2-2-1-0) F#m7b5 (2-x-2-2-1-0) Fmaj7 (1-x-x-2-1-0) Am G6add9 (3-x-0-2-0-x) D (with F# bass) Esus4 (0-2-2-2-0-0) E (x2) *Chorus* C#m (x-4-6-6-5-4) F#m (2-4-5-2-2-2) C#m Bm (x-2-4-4-3-2) E Esus4 (x2) …and back into verse arrangement. *Solo* Use verse arrangement. :0)
