Hans Andreas Dahl - Norwegian National Romanticism

Hans Dahl (19 February 1849, Granvin -- 27 July 1937) was a Norwegian painter. Hans Dahl is famous for painting beautiful scenery from the Western part of Norway, paintings of Norwegian fjords and surrounding landscapes and often put beautiful, blonde girls in national costumes in his pictures. The German emperor was the annual summer guest in Balestrand until World War 1, he liked both Dahl and his work.
