I was inspired to work on this artistic collaboration with my talented songstress friend Eriel Indigo when she explained that this song is about the deep, genuine yearning to connect with another. This love can take on a life of its own, its own being. Perhaps this love is not always returned but it makes it no less real & important to us & denying it would be almost like denying the truth within our hearts. It’s about loving in a way that feels honest & true to ourselves & not allowing the judgements or opinions of others to sway what we know is real.
