SpaceX Starlink 33 launch & Falcon 9 first stage landing, 18 December 2021

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 52 Starlink satellites (Starlink-33) from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, on 18 December 2021, at 12:41 UTC (04:41 PST). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1051) previously supported ten missions: SXM-7, RADARSAT Constellation Mission, Demo-1 (Crew Dragon’s first demonstration mission) and seven Starlink missions. Credit: SpaceX
