The Schoolboys’ Exhibition at The Imperial War Museum, London. C/U of a model robot with an aubergine-shaped head; antennae, a square metal body and two blinking lights for an eye; M/S of the robot walking towards us; the body looks somewhat like that of a tin man. M/S of a school boy crouching down and looking at the model, holding onto one of it’s arms. He turns a switch at the back of the robot’s foot and it starts walking again. M/S of a group of schoolboys looking at a model aircraft carrier; the camera pans along it so we get an ’aircraft’s view’ of the runway. C/U of a model plane on the runway, panning left to show other planes on the carrier; concentrating schoolboy faces seen in background. C/U of a young boy looking intently at part of the model.
