Possessive Pronouns in English - Mine, Yours, His, Hers, Ours, Theirs
In this English grammar lesson we learn all about possessive pronouns.
The possessive pronouns are mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs.
First we look at possessive adjectives (my, your, his her, our, their) and how to make a possessive pronoun by replacing a possessive adjective noun to avoid repetition.
We give many examples of possessive pronouns and the different positions that can appear in a sentence.
At the end of this ESL lesson, there is a simple quiz. There are eight sentences with a blank space in them where a possessive pronoun should go. The viewer needs to give the correct possessive pronoun that goes in that space. The answers are given after some time.
