- Terror at Shibuya Crossing: Lowrider Strikes Pedestrians, Resulting in Multiple Injuries

While enjoying a dinner at a restaurant near Shibuya Crossing around 7 pm, the sound of sirens nearby caught my attention. Intrigued, I decided to tune into the Shibuya Crossing live stream on YouTube to investigate the situation. To my surprise, I saw a multitude of emergency vehicles parked in the vicinity. Without hesitation, I hurriedly left the restaurant and began recording the scene. The footage you are currently viewing begins from this point. As I stepped outside, my eyes locked onto a young man who was being escorted into a police car, presumably the individual responsible for the turmoil. I was on the scene before any news crew had arrived, providing a firsthand account of the unfolding events. According to the latest reports, this young man had allegedly accidentally driven his lowrider into a group of people gathered at the smoking area near Shibuya Crossing. Subsequently, the vehicle came to a halt in the middle of the road, a short distance away from the crossing itself. The footage you’re about to witness was captured using my Panasonic Lumix GH6. Regrettably, my camera had only about 30 minutes of battery life remaining when I initiated the recording, but it still managed to capture the majority of the unfolding events. Throughout the recording, you will witness Shibuya police officers, ambulances, and firefighters diligently attending to and aiding the injured in a swift and efficient manner. I must commend the Shibuya police officers for their professional handling of the chaotic situation, which helped prevent unnecessary panic from spreading.
