Available NOW on Oculus Quest for only $ - ARVORE’s award-winning interactive VR narrative “The Line“ launches May 28th on Oculus Quest The ​ ​cinematic experience will be one of the first to fully integrate the Quest’s hand tracking feature. São Paulo May 18th, 2020 — Right after successfully releasing the critically acclaimed game “Pixel Ripped 1995” last month, Brazilian VR studio ARVORE is launching another brand new experience on the Quest by the end of May: “The Line”. The short interactive love story, narrated by Rodrigo Santoro (Westworld), won “Best VR Experience” at the 76th Venice International Film Festival last year, and will now be available for the first time for VR audiences. Set within a scale model of 1940s São Paulo, “The Line” is an interactive story about love and fear of change, transforming you into a child to unlock an enchanted maquette of two miniature dolls, Pedro and Rosa. This room-scale experience invites you to pull on knobs, and crawl under the scale model engine, to unfold the story of these figurines who are perfect for each other, but reluctant to live out their love. The piece will be amongst the first VR Narratives that fully integrate support for the Quest’s amazing hand tracking feature. The experience will be part of Oculus’ first cinematic narrative bundle together with the award-winning “Gloomy Eyes”, narrated by Colin Farrell. Both pieces can also be purchased individually.
