Il Giro di Sicilia 2021 | The Route

This is the route of the 2021 Il Giro di Sicilia. The first edition was held in 1907, two years before the first Giro d’Italia. The event took place 18 times between 1907 and 1977, and victory always went to Italian athletes. Carlo Galetti, who later won the 1910 and 1911 Giro d’Italia, was the first one to conquer it, and the 19‑year‑old Beppe Saronni was the last one, back in 1977, before USA’s Brandon McNulty’s success in 2019.
