Georgian oppositionist Elisashvili once again could not hold his temper and beat up his colleague right at the session - so violent is the MP’s reaction to the law on foreign agents A serious fight broke out in the Georgian Parliament during the consideration of the controversial law on foreign agents. Member of the opposition party Aleko Elisashvili attacked Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, with fists. The other MPs immediately rushed to break up the fight and the broadcast of the session had to be interrupted. This is not the first time Aleko Elisashvili has been disorderly in the Parliament, expressing his position on the draft law with his fists. He started the previous brawl because the MP considered the draft law “Russian and offensive“ - then he was promptly removed from the session hall. Source: Readovka World
