Ram Naresh - Craig Serverless Computing

Starting from the era of computers, we have been trying to exploit the hardware especially compute optimally and efficiently. This journey starts from deploying applications on a virtual machine to Virtualization, Containerization, and then to serverless. Serverless computing is an execution model where the cloud providers manage the allocation and provisioning of servers. A serverless application runs in stateless compute containers that are event-triggered, ephemeral, or fully managed by the cloud provider. This talk is all about discussing the benefits, drawbacks, and key considerations to make a decision to choose a serverless environment.
