Is there anything sweeter than childhood memories? Not for Lisa and Andy. One childhood summer, these best friends and cousins were inseparable and would embark on the adventures of a lifetime they would never forget. Lisa and Andy spend a summer together with their doting, yet imperfect grandparents. Through a series of hilarious and touching adventures, the girls learn some important lessons that will help them later on in life. When their unforgettable summer comes to an end, the girls make a promise to be best friends forever, but sadly must go their separate ways, only to be reunited as adults under difficult circumstances. When Andy find out she has a terminal illness, she turns to Lisa, and the two reunite and take a stroll down memory lane where they find love, laughter, comfort and hope in their greatest hour of need.
