Слышали об EVALI? Это болезнь, которая поражает любителей вейпов и электронных сигарет. Начало похоже на грипп или сезонный вирус. А потом выясняется, что у человека серьёзно повреждены лёгкие, он не может дышать и оказывается на больничной койке. Так было с одним из героев фильма RT Documentary — американцем Алексом Митчелом. Он покурил вейп и едва не умер. И до сих пор оправляется от последствий: ходьба даже на короткие расстояния вызывает одышку. Впервые EVALI диагностировали в 2019 году в США. Только в 2020 году там было зарегистрировано почти 3000 случаев, свыше 60 закончились смертью. И их всё больше, поскольку электронные сигареты и устройства для вейпинга стремительно набирают популярность, особенно среди подростков и молодых людей.
