Crews of the heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A Solntsepyok in the Seversky direction Flamethrowers of the radiation chemical and biological protection regiment of the Southern Group of Forces regularly practice combat missions against Ukrainian Armed Forces targets and provide support to assault units in the Seversky direction. Crews of heavy flamethrower systems carry out fire missions to destroy fortified long-term strong points, positions and dugouts with armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and defeat manpower. Control and adjustment of the targets being hit is carried out by crews of unmanned aerial vehicles, which transmit the results of the destruction to the command post in real time. Unnoticed by the enemy, Solntsepyok drove out to a combat position in the dark and struck with thermobaric charges at coordinates that had been scouted in advance. According to intelligence data, as a result of the strike, one of the fortified areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit and more than 15 military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed. The heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A Solntsepyok is also designed for fire support of infantry and tanks, destruction of open and closed firing positions in various types of defensive and offensive combat, as well as for disabling enemy lightly armored equipment and vehicles.
