Massive Swell Creates 360 Degree Wave on Tiny Island in Alaska

Alaska has been a hoot! We’ve experienced some pretty big seas. For the past few days, however, we’ve been hunkered down in various coves to protect us from a massive incoming swell. Today we came across the Moraine & waited for the tide to fill in all day to see what would happen & what we witnessed truly astounded us. It created a 360 degree breaking wave zone around the tiny island. We were able to ride about 200° of the island before getting smoked, but it was a truly amazing exerience & probably the most fun I’ve had surfing all year!
