The Pasadena Roof Orchestra was founded in 1969 after the discovery of over 2000 original arrangements in an attic in Manchester. Today, the orchestra is seen as the world’s most successful 1920’s and 1930’s dance band, with a busy date schedule taking them to every major concert house in Europe. This coming year will see the Orchestra visit famous venues such as the Hamburg Musikhalle, London’s Cadogan Hall, the Konzerthouse in Vienna, the Mozartereum in Salzburg as well as the Konzerthaus in Berlin. The legendary cult star band specializes in music from the inter war period, the so called ‘Jazz Age’ -an era that included some of the greatest song-writers ever such as George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington, and Cole Porter.
