The Korgis: Young ’n’ Russian

This is the original promo for Young ’n’ Russian, which I co-Directed in 1979, with the late great Dave Borthwick. Shot in Bristol by Dave Alex Riddett (later of Aardman fame), I have had the master film and sound track hidden away in a cupboard for the past 36 years! I found it a few months ago, and have just had it re-mastered and transferred to video. Our live-action stop-frame animation technique was later used in Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer“ video. So, here for all Korgis fans is the rarely-seen genuine article. Enjoy! David Hutt
