Coming from a music oriented family, he started playing guitar at a young age. From the very beginning he was attracted to Blues and Rock music. His father took him at age 13 to an Allman Brothers Band concert and it added fuel to the fire. Instantly becoming a student of the master playing of the bands history of guitar players including Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, and Warren Haynes to name a few, he learned from them to travel back through their influences and contemporaries. Enlisting many Blues albums from the Delta Blues to the British Invasion, the path broadened when more guitar players also sought inspiration from the old master such as Jimm
