Harley Benton JB-40 FL Fretless Jazz Bass

So this arrived today from Germany, and apart from raising the action just a tiny bit to suit my playing, this is straight out of the box into something I recorded a while ago in Logic. This bass is AMAZING value for money - I now own a Thomann guitar and bass for a tiny outlay. I guess many will see this as a beginners bass, but really it is much more than that. Yes the tuners are a bit less smooth and robust than my more professional basses, but the rest of the hardware and the fit and finish are just superb, putting to shame basses costing 4-5 times as much. The neck is just great, the body is just two pieces of ash, so well matched and joined I thought it was a single piece when I recorded the video, I had to look really hard to find the join. The only drawback is that it is quite heavy.
