People in Switzerland are in danger! A Destructive storm in La Chaux-de-Fonds A powerful storm has hit several areas in northwestern Switzerland with heavy rain and very strong winds on Monday, causing damage to structures, trees, and vehicles, according to local media. The storm hit around 11:30 a.m. in the Neuchâtel Mountains and more specifically in La Chaux-de-Fonds which borders France. The MeteoSwiss report has recorded wind gusts reaching speeds of 217 km/hour. The storm did not last long but the strong gusts of wind caused significant damage. Before reaching Switzerland, the storm hit eastern France.
